I have completed no official equine qualifications yet.

I’ve taken English riding lessons for 3 years, and during that time I’ve helped with weekly feedings, stall cleaning, grooming, water-changing, lunging, tack cleaning, tack organizing, and other odd jobs around the barn. I’ve also volunteered in several week-long horse camps with young kids, assisting in leading horses, teaching kids how to tack up, and helping with any odd jobs around the barn. I do not have much experience with green horses or problem horses but I do have a little experience with foals.

I can ride English, and I’ve been around multiple different kinds of horses at a lot of different barns. I can tack up, clean stalls quickly, clean tack, organize, feed, groom, lung, and lead horses. I am comfortable around horses, happy to help with lots of jobs, flexible, and comfortable outdoors in any weather. I am eager to learn whatever I do not know yet!

I’ve ridden (english) a lot of different lesson horses, so have had experience in a variety of different horse personalities and preferences. I have not had much experience riding green horses or problem horses. I have only done flat work, and am steady and comfortable in the walk, trot, and canter. I am currently being trained towards jumping. I have had no experience in starting a horse or training horses, though I do understand the basics of training animals and want to learn more.

I have not been involved in any competitions or competition yards yet, but I do hope to compete or work as a groom as apart of competitions in the future.
