- I am a college student looking to become a working student for summer. I am looking to learn cattle herding and roping. I do not have my own horse. Farthest I’ll go is an hour away from the zip code I provided. If it’s an hour away I’ll need housing.

Duties of Current Occupation
Doing work on a ranch with horses while learning to herd and rope cattle
Equine Work Experience
I have never worked in an equestrian job or setting. I have volunteered for a therapy ranch but I have never worked. While volunteering I learned basic ranch work as well as how to treat horses with rashes or wounds. I have a letter given to me by the owner of the therapy ranch for proof of volunteering.
Specialities
Able to groom, feed, tack, cool and warm up horses for rides. I have small knowledge on stable cleaning but I need more experience in mucking stalls and cleaning stables.
Type of Ride Work
I have ridden lesson horses and broke horses. I have never ridden a green horse nor do I have experience in starting them out. All the horses I have ridden are western lesson horses.
