Equine Work Experience

I’ve always been around horses but started actually competing rodeos and playdays at 11 years old. I have my one main horse which I’ve spent countless hours training on. I love doing ground work with a horse and new tricks I’ve gotten mine to bow and lay down. And my jr and sr year I went to votech for equine and vet med. in equine we would get assigned our own yearlings and desensitize them, work with picking up there feet, ground work, halter breaking them, loading them in the trailer, an bathing them. We also got to handle there studs and mares they had there

Specialities

I have worked with foals stallions and broodmares. I am quick at mucking out and keeping a tidy yard

Type of Ride Work

I ride western thats what I grew up on. I’ve dealt with problem, green, and young horses. My paint horse I have used to rear up with me when going into the arena finally got him to stop doing that with walking in and out multiple times. We also had this mare which had her baby and I halter broke her and a lot of ground work. She was a pretty calm horse so saddling her and riding her went pretty simple. I think a majority of the horses we’ve had have been green horses besides 2.
