Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Equine General Studies with and Equine Studies Concentration. Have been a show groom at top Saddlebred shows such as UPHA American Royal National Championships and Lexington Junior League.

Full time student graduating in December of 2022

Equine Work Experience

I have been riding horses since I was 5 years old but have been training horses for approximately 10 years now. I have a 4-year Bachelors of Science Degree in Equine General Studies with and Equine Studies Concentration.

Specialities

Working with Saddlebreds, Arabians, and Morgans. I work well with challenging horses. I am able to drive a tractor and a truck and trailer.

Type of Ride Work

I mostly ride Saddle Seat but have ridden all the disciplines. I work best with problem horses.

Competition Details

I have shown mostly on a local level but have shown 5-gaited Saddlebreds at recognized shows.

Responsibilities
Black Horse Stables - I was in charge of cleaning stalls and worked with the trainer in getting horses worked. I was also in charge of the daily care of the horses.
Salisbury Stables - I assisted the trainer, tacked up horses, was in charge of the daily care of horses, and exercised horses.
Jim Roach Harness Racing - I was in charge of the daily care of the horses and tacking horses up to be worked.
William Woods University - I am a crucial part in the daily care of over 130 horses. I am also in charge of locking up the barns at night at closing and making sure horses are not in distress when leaving for the night.
Stillwater Valley Farms - This was a summer show groom paid internship during the summers of 2021 and 2022. I was in charge of the daily care of the horses, stall cleaning, grooming, bathing, and tacking up the horses to be worked and for showing.
