Equine Work Experience
Created an individualised care program for 30 horses of various needs. Independently operated dump trailers, trucks, tractors, and ATVs. Provided exceptional customer service to over 30 individuals. Adhering to specialized requests while maintaining respectable boundaries. Strengthened relationships with local professionals for the benefit of the animals wellbeing. Conceptualized appropriate dietary needs through extensive knowledge of Equine nutrition. Appropriately allocated resources between multiple facilities, finalizing quarterly reports and handled employee requests. Improved property through minor repairs to machinery, buildings, and equipment. Maintained two barns within in a veterinarian facility. Specialized feed, medication, and turnout care on case by case basis. Medications required administration via intramuscular, orally, and occipitally.
Specialities
I have worked with various breeds, foals/broodmares, stallions, rehab and those recovering from surgery. These experiences have been spread over 5 locations and each provided invaluable experience. Working closely with vets, handling boarders needs, guiding beginners, and leading other barn staff. I am competent and confident in the daily operations and excel in labours work along with operating heavy machinery.
Type of Ride Work
I have been lucky to ride many horses. My passion lies in eventing but I thoroughly enjoy giving youngsters a nice start. Recently, I have had a great deal of luck rehabbing and restarting sport horses. I like to dabble in all disciplines because I think cross training is very beneficial to the mechanics of staying sound.
