In the fall of 2024, I plan to enroll in the Equine studies program at Isothermal Community College.

Groundskeeper: labor intensive & includes climbing trees with a harness to remove dead limbs, raking bunkers, hauling brush, driving light-duty machinery, and maintaining landscape.

Though I've never worked in a professional setting with horses, my desire is to have a career caring for horses. Horses are an amazing type of animal that perform many duties for their owners. I see my role as someone whose interest is in the well being and health management of the horse, especially in the area of massage therapy, nutrition, and perhaps the field of breeding.

After graduating high school in May, I plan to begin a program in Equine studies at Isothermal Community College. My hope is to gain experience and knowledge while working with horses during the spring and summer. Ideally, it would be of great advantage to find a position working with horses that I could maintain throughout my schooling.

I've had the opportunity to ride a horse only a few times in my life, but strongly desire to become a proficient rider.

Though I do not have any experience in this area, I would love the opportunity to learn the skills necessary to excel in these areas.
