My father is an equine veterinarian on the south side of Chicago. I grew up working closely with him, learning about equine first aid. My background is in eventing. Both of my parents were eventers, and I have competed successfully through the US Preliminary level. In my early teen years, I would groom and take on catch rides on all sorts of horses of all different disciplines to earn extra cash to afford to compete at schooling shows. As a young adult, I have spent time grooming and riding for various professional riders on or near the east coast and for a short period of time, in Germany. I was also hired on at a large breeding facility for some time in GA where I participated in every step of the breeding process. My work has always been held to an extremely high level. There isn't anyone who would criticize my work ethic.
