I have taught elementary school for 10 years and recently quit to pursue my interest in the equine field. I have the ability to solve complex problems, multitask, and communicate with parents and children. I can work alongside with a team but am also motivated to get things done on my own with little supervision. I have the drive to learn new things and hone the skills I have learned so far, have the intention to finish my certification and begin teaching as soon as possible.

I began volunteering at Corral Riding academy in July 2022. I feed and care for the horses there as well as help maintain facilities. I support the volunteer program by leading groups in community workdays at the farm doing various repairs and farm work. I began learning Natural Lifemanship in July 2022 in order to become involved with the Equine Therapy program there. I now work at Saddletree Stables feeding, mucking, filling hay huts, facilities care, grooming, medicating, exercising horses when needed .

No experience at this time however the ad mentioned that you would be willing to train the right person. I would highly appreciate that opportunity to continue my learning at Gaitway and would invest in lessons myself in order to further my education in competitive riding.
