We are looking for an Assistant Barn Manager with a passion and extensive knowledge of horses in a western trail riding environment. We are looking for a highly motivated, self-starter that is capable of being a leader in the organization.
We are a small private 6 acres horse farm in Malibu, CA, that is looking for a full time live-in groom to oversee and organize the wellbeing of currently four German warmbloods and two miniature horses starting April 2020.
I have been around animals since I was five years old. I love animals, have always had a cat (still do !), a parrot or a fish. In 2006 we moved to South Carolina, we had two horses; Quarter horse paint and a black Paso Fino. In 2008 we had purchased three Miniature horses. After awhile we bred them for a hobby, raised the babies, I always loved to assist the vet when they were born. I had always wanted to do something with animals for a career, but I had changed my mind and went into baking instead. I love being a Pastry Chef, but i'm in a point in my career and life where I would like to go back to working with animals for a career. My knowledge of horses:
