Equine Work Experience
Yes, I have worked at Startown Stables and Managed and trained at Blake Cliff Stables in N.C from 2001-2015. I have started 60+ young green horses and have experienced their success in the showring in State and National Shows. I feel one of my strengths is having great communication skills both with the horses as well as your team members.
Specialities
I have worked with foals, stallions, fillies, broodmares in various settings. (breeding, birth, newborns, worming, halter breaking, leading and exercising etc.) I have experience in leading a team as I managed a farm for 13 years and currently I supervise over 30 crew members. Learning to build-up your team is key to success. Building a strong team requires discipline and great communication.
Type of Ride Work
I have ridden Paso Fino Horses, Quarter Horses, Jumping and Creole (Mixed) I have also trained young green horses or have made corrections to horses brought to me with problems. I have started many horses both in Startown and Blake-Cliff with 40-50+ horses. I have done private clinics where I work with both horse and rider to correct issues.
Competition Details
Yes, I have competed and participated in many horse shows resulting in winning championships and helping clients show and win with horses that I have trained. The success of a trainer is revealed through the eyes of another rider knowing they have a well trained horse with the potential for anyone to ride that horse and succeed in the showring.
