I have worked at multiple barns feeding, grooming, and cleaning as well as helping my eventing trainer work horses.

I have learned how to retrain off the track thoroughbreds for sport careers, particularly turning my last horse into a decent low level eventer before selling him to a hunter/jumper home. I’ve helped take young/green horses to their first shows, have competed horses for their owners, and was briefly on an equestrian team at a college in Virginia.

I’ve mostly ridden eventing horses, typically Thoroughbreds, but have sat on a variety of breeds including Quarter Horses, Warmbloods, and Arabians.

I competed seriously for about three years in eventing, and have worked at local eventing barns in my area that were actively competing.
