I was a volunteer at Colorado Horse Rescue (https://chr.org/) in Longmont, Colorado from September 2016 to July 2022. During my time as a volunteer I became a part-time employee for the rescue. My employment including both Farm and Horse Management responsibilities. One of my main objectives across both of my roles was to maintain the facility with a high degree of organization and care. As a part of my objectives, I would take on additional tasks so that our staff members would be able to focus their time on the training and rehabilitation of the horses.

In addition to the specialties that I've highlighted in my profile, I provided direction to the volunteers that were assigned to the shift of the days that I worked. This included ensuring that all basic requirements for the horses have been met but also the cleanliness of the property along with the identification of other projects that can be worked on in parallel to normal duties.
