I have worked on a breeding farm in Saratoga from 12/2021 to present. I have performed all duties, including foaling, weanling training, sales prep, basic med care, retraining/rehoming OTTBs, and managing in the absence of the farm manager.

I grew up riding and working on a 30+ pony club horse farm, catch riding and training green horses since teenage years. I have taught lessons, thrown hay, mended fences, and everything in between. Since then I have periodically stayed in the horse world, and in 2021 began working at a thoroughbred breeding farm in Saratoga where I gained experience in the breeding, foaling, and raising/training process.

I have experience in foaling, weaning, training, sales prepping, and retraining thoroughbreds. I have also led a team in the absence of the farm manager, including when she left for 6 weeks to attend an internship in Kentucky.

I have ridden countless horses in my years, including many green and off the track thoroughbreds. I was a C pony clubber who competed in novice eventing and jumping up to 3’6”, but most of my riding experience has been in retraining or developing young horses on the flat.
