I was born and raised on horses and on a farm in Hamlin NY where I had my first horse at 6 years old. Max was a trail horse and flat work type of horse. At the age of 8 years old I started riding lessons and became a hunter jumper competing in the Empire state riding academy series for many years. At the age of 14 I was considered an advanced adult and eventually won the overall class and that is where my show career ended and just rode for pleasure. At the age of 30 now I do not own a horse but still pleasure ride and have leased one special horse for the last 5 years who was a fantastic show horse and traveled all around doing hunter jumper shows with his owner, one of the nicest horses I have ever had the pleasure on riding and being around. I tend to gravitate towards the more spicy, fresh, green horses off the track and starting them under saddle and getting to know the basics. While I love all horses big, small, green, or broke I cherish their presence immensely.
