Bio
I have a service dog in training, a well behaved and friendly Doberman named Satine. She does not shed, is friendly to all people and animals, and requires some space to run and play but is well mannered and respectful to commands and spaces.
Qualifications

I am in college for Equine Management at Houghton University, this includes riding classes from experienced riders/professors and clinic rides.

Duties of Current Occupation

I have been a barn hand in charge of stall + paddock cleaning and horse care. I was in charge of organizing tack and horse schedules and placements, as well as many minor health care needs. I have also counseled at summer camp and been Direc. Assist.

Equine Work Experience

I have been riding and working with horses for over 8 years. I have been receiving college education in Equine Riding and Management since 2022. I have competed in flat classes, and two dressage shows, and am now riding First Level Dressage solidly and schooling some Second Level Dressage. I have started young horses and restarted some horses in the ground work department.

Specialities

I have worked with broodmares, stallions, rescues and young horses. I was able to aid in some of the training for all of these horses. I worked in a team of two (including myself) for the stallions and broodmares. I can start young horses from different backgrounds and work woth schoolmasters. I lead a team of camp counselors in teaching lessons, horse care, and general barn activities. I have also aided in recognized dressage show preparations.

Type of Ride Work

Lots of flatwork, with some Western. I have jumped some cross rails and 1' rails. Most of my training is in natural horsemanship and Dressage.

Competition Details

I have competed in flat hunter/jumper classes and two Dressage schooling shows.
