• Perform horse handling (lead walking) duties in therapeutic and recreational horseback riding lessons. • Support and encourage student equestrians of all ages and abilities. • Execute directions from riding instructors during therapeutic riding sessions • Assist in stable management tasks (including grooming, horse turnout, filling hay bags/water buckets, cleaning feed pans, shoveling horse waste, etc.) • Collaborate with other volunteer workers to ensure lessons run as efficiently as possible • Greet and engage with riders and their families.
