Eager rider and former horse owner looking for work in the Southeast Florida area/ West Palm. I have been around horses my entire childhood and am looking to gain experience in the equine industry now that I am older. I am a quick learner, easily able to adapt, and have a natural passion for horses.
I am looking for home groom position. Closer to Hamburg area, the better. I can clip, plait, bandage, treat wounds etc. Willing to go shows too. I am a teamplayer, but can work solo too. Horses health is my main priority. I am looking for long time solution. Can lounge and i would be interested to get to ride some flatwork/hacking (not necessary, just wanting i could further my skills) I would need a live in-position and would be greatful if i can take my two wellbaved cats with me :)
I am a keen aspiring groom who has been working with horses on a voluntary basis, and am now looking for a full or part-time opportunity to progress my career and gain more experience. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.
My name is Daisie, I am 18 years old and have owned horses for the past 5 years. I have previously worked on an international showjumping yard and am keen to pursue my next job. I am open to any discipline and able to adapt to every yards standards and needs.
I am currently a show groom and rider for Jennifer Alfano of Next Chapter LLC. My job includes all normal chores involved with the daily care of top show horses.
I began working for Susan and Gary Clark of Lucky C Stables at the age of 10. I have done everything for Susan and Gary from cleaning stalls to feeding to show prep/grooming to riding to teaching lessons and managing the barn in their absence. I was a working student two summers in a row for Jason Berry Stables as a teenager, where I handled all daily barn chores as well as rode and travelled to shows with Jason. I began working with Jen Alfano over the winter for a short working-student position; riding, handling, and caring for top show horses. I have continued working for her over this summer, where I added traveling to horse shows to that list.
I think that I am a very well-rounded horse person in all aspects. I am very detail-oriented in the barn (both with actual barn work and working around the horses). I think I ride capably and effectively. I have been told I am a very effective teacher and can often successfully work with kids/adults that many people have a hard time teaching. I love to interact with clients and get to know them on a personal level. I am comfortable with medications of all forms (orally, IM, IV).
I have ridden all different kinds of horses from young/green-broke horses to made, top-quality show horses. While I don’t have much of a show record, I consider myself to be a capable and sensitive rider with a lot of drive to learn and a lot of feel for what the horses need.
