Duties of Current Occupation
Maintaining Cleanliness of stables. Feeding and grooming horses, maintaining the health daily. Helping children with special needs aid to ride horses [CTRI] [PATH]
Equine Work Experience
I previously worked at a stable. Called Green Chimneys in Brewster NY, and was a stable hand there who helped children learn to ride horses. I also worked at St. Andrews University which is where I went to college for Therapeutic Horsemanship and the stable had over 140 horses which needed to be turned out daily.
Specialities
I have a lot of experience specifically working with children who have special needs and teaching them how to ride a horse. I have worked with stallions, mares, foals, geldings etc.
Type of Ride Work
I have rode pretty much anything from a 19 hh Clydes to a 15hh Norwegian Fjord mare. I’m college I was on an IHSA team and rode for them for about a year.
