Teaching lessons and summer camps. Grooming to a high standard. Riding hunt seat and western. Traveling to both local and national shows.
I have held long term positions at two barns as a professional. The first was over 10 years. The second is my current employer, and I have been there for 7 years. I have taught all types of riders, from those sitting on a horse for the first time to multi-national champions. I am a confident, patient handler on the ground and will take my time to ensure horses are working on all aspects of their training, including ground work and manners. I am always happy to learn new ways of doing things, and realize that every barn does things differently.
Fostering a positive and encouraging environment for both horses and riders in a lesson program. Managing a small team of other riders and staff to ensure maximum efficiency and uniform performance. Working with all types of horses, including foals, stallions, and high energy show horses. Arabian show horses.

I have shown in: Appaloosa rated shows as a youth. Arabian shows ranging from the New Mexico State Fair, Class A shows, Regional and National competitions. Most recently September 2023.
I have been a groom at Arabian shows as well, including grooming, polishing hooves, body clipping, braiding, lunging, warming horses up for riders, coaching.
