I have attended several trainings related to horse care and competition.

My work right now consists in doing research, writing proposals and organizing.

After some years away from horses, I bought my first mare 16 years ago and bred her to an Arab stallion. Since then I have owned 8 horses, from a 5 yo retired thoroughbred, a 12 yo retired eventer , and and 3 more mares which we have had since they were 2 yo and still own and ride when I can. I have been riding , looking after and dealing with horses consistently for the last 16 years. Horses and everything around them has always been a passion in my life .

My first job was at DRC, the old race track in Detroit, working as a groom. We had between 8 and 13 race horses under our care, mostly fillies and young geldings.It was hard work and often long days, but I loved it. At home we had 13 acres where we kept brood mares, foals and horses that needed a rest, mostly due to minor injuries.

I have ridden mostly PRE, pure bred Spanish horses and Arab or Arab mixes and I’ve done mostly trail riding and some dressage. Most of our horses have been started at home.

I have worked as a groom on a race track and translated for American judges in Spain in barrel race competitions.
