Bio
I prefer a live in position that accommodates for pets (2 small dogs) and allows me to continue to train and resell current horse.
Duties of Current Occupation

Prior day job included general accounting duties as an outsourced accountant for client businesses. Currently train and resell my own horses in addition to giving training rides to client horses.

Equine Work Experience

I have worked at several barns over the past six years, four of which spent at the same barn. My main duties have included feeding, turning out, rehab routines, medical care, riding, teaching, leading trails, and coaching. I have personally restarted several OTTB’s as well as gave training to young and green horses. Introducing first off-property or new environment experiences.

Specialities

Working with young, fit, or unpredictable horses including stallions, layups, broodmares, and weanlings. Treating a variety of injuries or rehab needs. OTTB retraining and working with green or unstarted horses. Teaching lessons, trail guide, and overall horse care. Excel in working with overly sensitive horses to become relaxed and quiet citizens on the ground or under saddle. Taking horses to introduce first positive outings or show experiences.

Type of Ride Work

I have experience with anxious, reactive, green, and young horses. I ride and train to create relaxed, curious, and confident horses. I have introduced flat work and jumping to horses and do have limited experience starting horses. Very confident in working with OTTB’s directly off the track to let down, treat, and retrain. I have ridden in several local competitions and disciplines introducing show environments to green horses.

Competition Details

I have participated in a multitude of events through novice, show jumping, hunters, IHSA, fox hunting, team penning, and cow sorting all with new or green horses.
