Qualifications
I go to Tuskegee University for animal and veterinary science in hopes to become a equine veterinarian. Some horse related courses I have taken already are animal and poultry science, Pre-Vet, and introductory animal science.
Equine Work Experience
I've worked as a working student at Gleneayre Equestrian Program from ten to eighteen and once I graduated the program I got a working job there mucking stalls, feeding and helping out around the barn. Along with going to shows as a groom and riding horses that they needed ridden or schooled before shows.
Specialities
I've been riding and working with horses for twelve years now. I've been to shows like HITS and Ocala as a groom for my farm, Fast mucker, turning out and bringing in experience along with feeding, giving and setting meds, assisting with lessons for kids, grooming and tacking up.
Type of Ride Work
I've ridden young, and green horses, horses with stopping problems and more. I do the hunters jumpers. I've competed up to the 3ft maiden hunters and have shown locally and brandywine, HITS and more.
