My responsibilities included mucking out stalls, ensuring the horses' living spaces were clean and comfortable, and maintaining the paddocks to provide a safe environment for the horses to graze and exercise. I also lunged horses, a technique essential for their training and exercise, which allowed me to build trust and communication with each animal. One of the most rewarding aspects of my role was giving riding lessons to children and individuals with disabilities. This experience taught me patience, empathy, and the importance of tailored instruction to meet each rider's unique needs. Witnessing the joy and confidence that horseback riding brought to my students was incredibly fulfilling. My family calls me the "horse whisperer," a testament to my natural ability to connect with and understand horses. This title reflects the intuitive bond I have with these have with these majestic animals, enabling me to address their behavioral issues and enhance their well-being.
