Equine Work Experience
I worked with my uncle in Portugal over the summer on his small ranch. I spent 2 weeks working with him and my cousin, maintaining the racehorses. I got the opportunity to work with the trainer and learned how to start them and how break them. I also made a great bond with one of the horses the trainer had and the horse and I really had a special connection.
Specialities
I haven't worked with any mares yet. I have excellent leadership skills in running a team. For example, I tend to take leadership in group projects at school to ensure mutual success.
Organization and cleanliness are very important to me. In my past experience, I am a fast worker, but I never sacrificed my high standard of work.
Type of Ride Work
I have a good reputation for working with Cart racing horses out in Portugal. I enjoyed preparing the horse before my cousins races and after leaning the horses off after a long day of racing.
