Equine Work Experience
- The past two years, I have managed a private barn of 4 horses. I did everything from first-aid, mucking of stalls, to the exercising of horses.
- I worked through all type of weather, rain or shine, with a smile on my face!
Specialities
- I have worked with geldings and mares, but I am happy to work with stallions, foal, and broodmares.
- I have led my IEA team at horse shows for all of high school and now I am part of my college's IHSA team at college.
- I have worked at a barn for all of the 11 years I have been riding for.
- I am quick at mucking and love to keep a tidy barn!
Type of Ride Work
- I grew up riding hunter jumper at a competitive barn for 11 years, but I am happy to learn about any other discipline!
- I do flat work, jumping, and have done plenty of trail rides.
- I have always loved riding green horses and working to improve their understanding of riding.
Competition Details
- I have done IEA for 7 years, starting in begineer WTC and ended in Intermediate 2'
- This college year, I will be riding in the limit 2' class in IHSA on the UMaine Equestrian Team.
