As stated above, I am certified in Equissage and stage 1 Masterson Method.

I'm an 18-year-old student looking for an international equine internship!

I have owned my own horses for years and worked for other barns exercising horses, grooming and all related barn work. At age eleven I was given a green pony that I trained to ride and drive. He became a great success and when I outgrew him, he went on to a riding school where he is the favorite lesson pony. I am not a stranger to the hard work involved in caring for horses!

One of my passions is equine massage and bodywork. I am certified in Equissage and have completed the first course of the Masterson Method as well.

In addition to massage, I have volunteered at a therapeutic riding program for four years as a lead horse handler during hippotherapy sessions for children and adults with disabilities.

I am also a Lifeguard with CPR and First Aid certification.

I grew up teaching myself to ride bareback and from there took basics lessons in English riding (hunt seat). Mostly the environment has been what we call "backyard" riding. No fancy shows or gear, just hacking out on trails and playing with small, homemade jumps in the yard. At lesson barns, I am often given the horses that are a bit "extra" as I am confident and firm with spooky horses. I would love to learn how to start a horse and try my hand at working with young equines at liberty!

I have not been a part of the competition world but I am eager and willing to learn anything new!
