Ideally, I would like to have living accommodations where I could bring my three horses. However, I do already live and board in Bozeman so this is not required.
I am a senior at MSU for equine science and animal science. I am on a sabbatical from school currently. I have a certificate in holistic animal nutrition, I have an associates science in pre-vet med. I have worked with large and small animals as a vet tech.
I have worked as a barn manager for a high end English barn, I grew up on an equine ranch, my job starting at 11 was to help my grandfather and stepdad breed the mares as well as handle the stallions, any new mare's coming o to the property, foal delivers, tending to mare and foal while growing and breaking the colt/filly once they came of age. I also handled all sales that came through the ranch.
Cattle drive, Branded cattle, handled stallions, bulls, assisted in breeding both live coverage and ai, assisted in foaling as well as calving. Tractor/four wheeler knowledge, fence mending and more.
Type of Ride Work
Western for the majority of my life with English flat work here and there depending on horses being broke at the ranch, ranch work, rodeo, trail , deep woods packing, 4h, jousting , mounted archery, renaissance mounted horse back games. Starting in 2016 is when I started ridding English heavily: jumping, dressage and flat work.
When I was the barn manager for larkspur farms I also helped groom, I have been part of many rodeos, omaksee's, Renaissance faire , Bozeman saddlites drill team, 4h.
