Looking for the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing achievements of a supportive and collaborative team with a progressive equestrian program for summer circuit and WEF 2025 with a focus on long-term success. Will provide cover letter/professional resume/equestrian resume/professional references, including pictures and videos upon request.
I am a 20 year USEF/USHJA professional with a long resume of training riders and horses from the most beginner local level to showing at the biggest A shows and taking clients to Florida and qualifying for indoors. I’ve done everything from breaking untouched 10 year old horses for pleasure to training winners of state medal finals and ribbon winners at USEF pony finals and Indoors. Currently located in the research triangle (Raleigh) of North Carolina but willing to relocate for the right fit.
A mature and reliable individual with transferrable skills and a varied work experience, seeks a temp role to complete Ride Safe & general riding. Opportunity to ride out/develop in-hand work welomed. Home counties preferred.
Eager rider and former horse owner looking for work in the Southeast Florida area/ West Palm. I have been around horses my entire childhood and am looking to gain experience in the equine industry now that I am older. I am a quick learner, easily able to adapt, and have a natural passion for horses.
I am looking for home groom position. Closer to Hamburg area, the better. I can clip, plait, bandage, treat wounds etc. Willing to go shows too. I am a teamplayer, but can work solo too. Horses health is my main priority. I am looking for long time solution. Can lounge and i would be interested to get to ride some flatwork/hacking (not necessary, just wanting i could further my skills) I would need a live in-position and would be greatful if i can take my two wellbaved cats with me :)
I am a keen aspiring groom who has been working with horses on a voluntary basis, and am now looking for a full or part-time opportunity to progress my career and gain more experience. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.
I have my high school diploma from Lincoln College Preparatory Academy (Kansas City, MO) and am working on my Bachelor's in Equestrian Science (minor in Business). I'm a rising Sophomore. In terms of officiated certifications, I've only been certified (by two institutions) for First Aid and CPR (both expired but the details are still fresh) and nothing else. I have references and recommendations from various instructors, professors and staff at William Woods and other facilities, though.
Looking for a summer job between June 24 to August 13. If more than 2 hr drive from KCMO (64109), I will need housing. Open to any field or work in the industry and I'm always seeking to learn and improve.
I've worked at my local equine rescue with the daily care of and starting/restarting of rescue horses. I've projected four horses so far, all but one who were re-sold when they would have otherwise had no home. I'm stupidly unafraid to ride anything, and I mean anything. I've ridden the likes of bolting (larger) ponies, bucking camp horses and dishonest jumpers who cheat nearly every fence (but that was a while ago). I'm open to any position, riding or not, but I would prefer something where I could get some lessons on the way as I don't want to go without riding for three months. I have been expanding my medical knowledge at William Woods University (EQS major) and would love some hands-on practice to really solidify the information. I'm a hard-working, problem-solving, persistent but patient team-player and I'd love to prove my worth at any facility. I've never shown anything other than a few classes of western pleasure but I'm open to even that.
My passion has always been starting and restarting rescues and, eventually, I would love to expand to starting colts. In terms of finished horses, I've always had a passion for both dressage and reining. I used to love to jump, not saying that I don't anymore, but it's been so long that I can't jump like I used to (I used to be able to do meter courses...those days are gone). Off of the horse, I love the daily care for them as I'm very detail oriented and I want them to be happy and healthy.
I started off in Eventing with a focus on Dressage and Stadium Jumping, we didn't have a Cross Country course, but (after nearly 5 years) I moved to a western barn and started ranch-type, pleasure-type and rodeo western riding. I barrel raced for all of two months, I've been riding western pleasure and ranch pleasure for years but my passion, I believe (at least in the western saddle) will always be reining and cattle work. As stated above, I'll ride anything, though. I've been riding 10+ years.
I have only ever competed twice, if you can call a 'rodeo' within a dude ranch a true competition. The second instance was a very relaxed Western Pleasure show at William Woods where, and I'll be the first to admit it, I did very poorly as I'd been able to prepare for a week and had never truly shown before. I'm always open to new experiences and I'd gladly show anything that I can (safely) but don't expect me to win much...
