Duties of Current Occupation
Right now I am looking for my next opportunity with horses.
Equine Work Experience
I started taking riding lessons when I was 13. When I turned 14 my parents got my horse. He was family until the day he died. I learned from him, with him, and because of him. I went through Pony Club and went to two regional rallies. I could not progress past C1 Level because my horse was a draft cross and was just too heavy to jump higher. Still, we did eventing, Pony Club, show jumping as a hunter, and even went foxhunting I was my own groom. The barn was owned by August A. Busch, Jr. and Robert Baskowitz. It was on the A list show circuit for a long time. 12 years I was there.
Specialities
I trained and showed my own horse. Went through Pony Club and 2 regional rallies. Worked with a trainer and taught beginning riders. Showed in Hunter class over fences and under saddle. Looking for my next horse/best friend! Looking forward to my new adventure.(My last horse was retired and passed away from old age.) It was believed that he was about 40 years old when he passed.
Type of Ride Work
Mostly my skills are hunt seat equitation. I also have done some trail and eventing. Would love to do more dressage on beginning level to work my way up. Also enjoy cross country, and have participated in a fox hunt.
Looking to be credentialed as a trainer through USHJA.
Competition Details
Lots of regional shows over fences and equitation. Too numerous to fill in here, but will supply full list on request. Championships and many ribbons with a horse most people would never have looked at twice.
