While I do not currently have any equine degrees, I have gained hands-on knowledge while working in the equestrian industry for over 10 years.

Delivered comprehensive care for horses in the barn by overseeing tasks, such as clipping, braiding, administering medication, lunging, grooming, and tacking for clients.

I have worked professionally as a hunter/jumper rider and show groom for the past 8 years in Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas while traveling nationally for A rated shows including pony finals, junior jumper finals, and capital challenge to name a few.

Teaching lessons when head trainer is unavailable. Managing a farm, including all horse welfare needs and leading a team of other employees. Managing a breeding program, including stallion, broodmare, and foal handling, live covers, collections. Breaking horses from the breading program to ensure well behaved and well educated animals. Full care for show horses while on the road including, clipping, braiding, medicating, and grooming to a high standard.

I have experience starting young green horse from the breeding program that I managed. I have also managed the fitness show horses at home and on the road, including lunging, flatwork, and jumping as well as prepping horses at shows by showing clients horses.

I have helped to run and manage local shows in Louisiana and Mississippi. I have worked at several high level competition farms in the past 8 years and have been the head show groom for my recent job for the past 5 years while traveling nationally for A rated shows.
