Educate guests about basic equine knowledge by providing detailed riding lessons to all ages regarding equine anatomy, psychology, and physical responses (basic riding skills, horsemanship training, loping lessons)

Responsible for care and knowledge of 110 head of horses. Provide herd care by assisting in administration of veterinary care, daily feeding and tacking of 50 head while assessing general soundness and overall health of the animals. Educate guests about basic equine knowledge by providing detailed riding lessons to all ages regarding equine anatomy, psychology, and physical responses (basic riding skills, horsemanship training, loping lessons), providing rules and tips regarding horse safety, and administering first aid when emergencies occur, on and off trail. Train/exercise horses for 20-30 hours a week while providing aid to horses who are sick or injured. Teach and work with inner city kids/youth groups to help them become comfortable around and familiar with the horses through equine energy work and basic horse education.
