Beyond my equestrian experience outlined above I am incredibly qualified to help with barn maintenance. I have worked at my family-owned construction company as a job site laborer for many years and feel confident working with equipment and tools. I also have held an on campus school-year position in three different offices on campus and feel well versed in my interpersonal skills. I have also volunteered with encouraging both mentally disabled and children-aged groups in athletic settings.
Hunt seat rider. Most recently completed a winter business internship at premier dressage barn working under barn manager. Experienced with stalls, tacking, daily operations/maintenance, and client/vendor relations.
Although I have been exposed to the equestrian world my whole life, I have mostly developed my passion in the past three years at the collegiate level. Due to this, I specialize in hunt seat equitation on the flat and have volunteered at local barns to become more proficient in hacking, tacking, stalls, and some basic care.
This past winter 2020-21 I completed an internship working under the barn manager at a premier dressage barn where I was included in day to day tasks as well as repeating chores and client relations.
I specialize in business management.
English riding at the IHSA Hunt Seat 2A Pre-Novice division.
I have competed only within the IHSA, representing Stonehill College. I began in Fall 2018 at the introductory level and last year qualified the first weekend of the season to advance to the next level. I am still at this second level, 2A, due to COVID restrictions and a natural learning curve with learning to canter.
