Between the ages of 6-12 years old, I spent many years on and off working, cleaning, riding and just spending time at a farm near my house. As an adult, for over 20 years, I worked full-time and then part-time on a farm as an assistant. I cleaned, rode, fed, and groomed horses. I even co-owned a brood mare that came from the mid-west and was in a trailer accident. We nursed her back to health and she became an amazing pleasure and tailride partner.

I worked and rode on a horse farm as a child and then for years as an adult. I co-owned a horse for several years and worked for the barn owner for years covering open shifts and doing night barn-checks. It has been a few years since I've worked in the farm environment but I am a quick learner and I miss the physical labor and the closeness/bond with the horses.
