I do not currently have equine related courses or college qualifications however I plan to go back to college to become a vet and love doing my own research. On my own time I have researched basic animal anatomy and husbandry, horses included.

I have worked the past year as a petcare specialist at a pet store, and volunteered at an animal sanctuary that has horses/donkeys/cows/sheep/alpacas/ goats/as well as other farm animals and wildlife. I have given medicine to a variety of animals.

I have experience feeding, washing/brushing, cleaning out stalls, leading, medicating, and equipping with jackets for harsh weather. In particular I have worked with a very skittish stallion who came to the rescue missing an eye, and have done all of the above with him, which took a lot of patience and small steps to make him confortable.

I have worked with full grown horses, as well as minature horses.

I have very minimal riding experience; I learned the basics as a kid but we could not afford to continue lessons.

I have not competed, worked in competition yards, or as a competition groom.
