Qualifications
2 years experience working and learning alongside horses
Duties of Current Occupation
Feed, turn out and care for up to 20 horses. Including all barn chores, grain set up, fence maintenance, blanketing, communicating with boarders and offering a clean and welcoming environment for them and their horses.
Equine Work Experience
Loving and handling a variety of horses and ponies for 2 years now. Including off the track thoroughbreds. My latest employment was at a busy boarding/lesson barn. I’m familiar with how competitive lesson barns operate and have attended and assisted at many shows during the season.
Specialities
I’m very hard working and reliable. I take pride in my work and keep a very clean and organized barn. I have great people skills and enjoy building relationships with the people I work with. I’m friendly, welcoming and have great communication skills. I have experience with all barn related chores and can lift over 50 pounds easily. I was a personal trainer for a long time and take pride in being able to do things myself but also know when to ask for help.
