    Equestrian Training Mirrors

Invaluable to training. Having someone on the ground the whole time is unrealistic so the mirrors provide continuous feedback on many aspects of riding especially with straightness, angles and posture. Our Unique System of Arena Mirrors are backed and framed in galvanised steel

Qualifications

As mentioned before I have been working with and around horses since the age of 8. I graduated with a bachelors degree in environmental studies and competed on my schools IHSA team for 4 years.

Equine Work Experience

I have been riding since 8 and competing on a local circuit as well as a few AA shows. I Began working in a professional environment in college working weekends caring for 50 horses turn in turn out feeding, wound care etc. I also managed the care of my schools IHSA horses before shows making sure the 25 students of various abilities learned how to clip, bathe and properly groom. I have currently been working at a show barn based in Western MA and Wellington FL full time for 2 years.

Specialities

I have worked handling young horses and foals as well as showing them for inspection. Currently I oversee the care of 30 horses cleaning stalls and doing chores, switching and organizing turn in/out, blanketing when needed, administering meds, first aid, cleaning paddocks daily, basic farm maintenance and repairs, and riding when the opportunity is given. I pride myself on keeping a professional appearance and attitude as well as maintaining a tidy work environment.

Type of Ride Work

I have ridden all types of horses from green horses to quirky ponies to seasoned show horses. Mainly competed in equitation and hunters, however I have begun to transition to also showing in the jumpers. I am currently in the process of developing a young pony as my first resale project and would love to continue developing show horses in future endeavors.

Competition Details

I have competed in local shows, AA shows and IHSA. Skills include and are not limited to lunging, bathing, flatting, tacking and getting horses to ring on time.
