Cowboy: care for 14 horses, including feeding, exercising and shoeing. Moved cattle Ranch instructor: taught kids age 6-14 to ride horses: responsible for cleaning out stalls, turn out, and horse education.

Cattle work: riding 4-14 hours a day moving cattle in the desert for 2 years. Trained new geldings for stamina based work. Frequently caught horses from pasture. IHSA catch riding: 2 years showing at the western riding beginner level of the IHSA: lots of practice riding many different horses. Only showed walk/jog, but practice walk/jog/lope.

Farrier training: cold shoeing, hot shoeing, including therapeutic and foal hoof/leg issues. I'm slow but thorough. I'm good at staying on horses that want you off, and convincing them to do what I ask.

Western only, though I'm up for learning other styles. Ridden and worked with quarter horses, thoroughbreds, mountain ponies and drafts. Jumped over ditches/bushes while moving cattle, but not competitively.

Competed in collegiate catch riding in the United states, primarily western showmanship.
