Equine Work Experience
I began working with horses and involvement with the United States Pony Club in 2015. I have competed in eventing with my trainer Adrienne Iorio and continued my partnership through a working student position since 2018. Another working student position I have participated in is at Iron Horse Dressage with Grant and Sharon Schniedman. There I worked for 3 years part-time to broaden my skills and connections. I have learned valuable skills as a working student and how to be the most effective groom to a professional. Being H-A certified in USPC has allowed me to use my skills to improve the care of each horse I handle. I also have experience with teaching as an apprentice instructor for 4 years. I worked with children and adult students varying in riding levels.
