Equine Work Experience
I started riding horses at summer camp when I was 8 and throughout my childhood I rode at several different farms, giving me a range of experiences riding different horses and being taught by instructors from many different backgrounds. I received my Bachelor of Science in Animal Veterinary Science with a concentration in Agribusiness and a minor in Psychology from Clemson University in 2019. My senior year, I focused mainly on equine studies. I also spent summers and semesters during college, volunteering with equine assisted therapy. I had the opportunity one summer to be an intern for a therapeutic farm where I gained valuable experience learning how to manage a farm. My experience in customer service working in restaurants, combined with my agribusiness degree, makes me an ideal candidate for a management position on a horse farm.
Type of Ride Work
My experience riding was mainly as a hobby growing up. I unfortunately have not had the chance to ride since I graduated high school but I would love to get back in the saddle.
