Qualifications
I am currently in school at the Savannah College of Art and Design as an Equestrian Studies major. I have completed the following courses: equine care behavior and handling, stable management, and I am working on my third RIDE class.
Duties of Current Occupation
In previous jobs I have helped with feed shifts, turn out, beginner lesson instruction, and holding for vets and farriers.
Equine Work Experience
I have been riding for 11 years and have helped out at different stables doing different jobs. I have helped do feed shifts, turn out, and holding for farriers and vets. My knowledge is mostly in hunters and equitation, but I have done some dressage in the past.
Specialities
In the past I have worked with horses ranging from 6 months old to seniors, from sport horses and rescues.
Type of Ride Work
I have mainly done hunters and equitation for the past 10 years, but have done some minor dressage as well. Currently, I am showing at the IHSA novice level for the Savannah College of Art and Design.
Competition Details
I have competed, and have helped with IHSA competitions as well as working at ANRC as jump crew and bit checker. I have competed at local shows, IEA, and Colonial Classic.
