I began riding seriously when I was 9 years old. I started off as a working student at a local lesson barn when I was 12, and eventually joined the Hunter/Jumper Show Team and competed in schooling and rated shows along the East Coast. I feel very comfortable around all types of horses. I worked professionally at a barn as a groom and camp counselor/instructor from ages 15 to 20.
Type of Ride Work
I have ridden lots of problem horses with speed issues who require a sensitive, adaptable rider. I have even more experience training green horses so that they can enter the lesson programs and become school horses. I also enjoy riding OTTB's.
Most of my riding experience is in the hunter/jumper discipline. I am originally an Equitation rider and a Jumper.
