Feeding, blanketing, turn-in/out, general health checks, stall cleaning, picking run-in sheds, cleaning automatic waterers, general upkeep of barn and pastures, dragging fields, filling hay nets in stalls and mangers in fields, water buckets

I have been working my current position as primary caregiver for 25 horses at a boarding barn since January 2022, and previous to this position, I worked for about a year part-time at the lesson barn where I previously boarded my horse. I

English riding, mainly hunt seat instruction for youth beginner riders. I pride myself in the excellent care I provide for the horses under my supervision, and the speed and effectiveness of my routines. I am detail-oriented, leave detailed shift notes for boss and coworkers to easily reference. I am always available to pick up extra shifts, don't mind long hours, early mornings, or late nights. I often work with horses for boarders when they are unable to get out to the barn for whatever reason

I ride all types of horses, many OTTBs, QH, a TWH, and a friesian, primarily English, but comfortable Western and bareback. Many are problem horses or have been sitting for extended periods and need refreshers. I've not started any horses, but have worked with many that are green broke. Hunter/jumper foundation with dressage and biomechanics later. Familiar with barrels. Jump courses up to 3'6", participated in many hunter paces. Recently starting liberty work with my personal horse.
