I have experience riding horses from your well versed lesson horse to your hot headed thoroughbreds, youngsters, and everything in between. I have experience showing in beginner novice but have comfortably schooled novice as well. I have not shown first level in dressage but have trained first through third level movements with an instructor and am working on teaching my personal horse lateral movements. My instructor and I have schooled movements such as: shoulder-in, haunches-in, half passes, leg yields, and turn on the forehand and have been focusing on true collection, bend, flexion, and straightness. I have handled stallions as well as foals and have experience with both colic, choke, and downed horses. I have been shown and practiced both IM and IV though I am not totally comfortable with giving intravenous injections on my own just yet. I may not have the most experience out of everyone who applies but I can promise I have the most heart and drive.

My background mostly consists of eventing with some dressage training. I have experience with all ranges of horses particularly green horses and OTTB's. I have handled both foals and stallions and have ridden and done barn chores for the last 21 years. I have my horse and a boarder at my house now and handle all of their care.

I have never started a horse but have experience with horses old and young, green and experienced, and everything in between. My riding history has consisted mainly of eventing training but I have also had some dressage training including a clinic with Rebecca Waite. I also rode at a hunter jumper barn for about a year.
