I have a bachelor's degree in Animal Science from McNeese State University. I have shadowed a professional horse braider and learned the ropes.

I am currently working at an eventing barn in Folsom, LA where we board roughly 50 horses and I am learning the managerial side of things as well as being a farm hand. I have also worked part-time in the summer in between college semesters sales prepping throughbred yearlings and caring for the broodmares and foals at another barn in Covington, LA.

I have experience in working with young horses, problem horses, and green horses. I do my best to listen to the horse. I have ridden some english and done some jumping, however my area of expertise is with barrel racing. I am open to learning everything, and I do everything with my horse. I have done trail competitions, cow sorting, showjumping, cross country, barrel racing, and have even dabbled in roping.I can start a horse but I would not say it is something I have had a lot of practice in.

I have assisted in setting up for shows and helping them to run smoothly.
