Duties of Current Occupation
Operating machinery, general maintenance, feeding and transporting livestock.
Equine Work Experience
I grew up with horses on the family farm, team roping and rodeo then began working as a farrier. I have vast experience in handling and care of horses, I have worked in horse boarding facilities, and I’ve spent a lot of time with horses and mules in the Colorado backcountry as a wrangler and guide. For a year I apprenticed under a professional farrier in South Carolina who also had a large hunter/jumper and dressage training barn where I also worked.
Specialities
Lifetime of equine experience, farm and ranch work, equipment operation and farrier work.
As well as personnel management and administrative roles while responsible for 80 individuals insuring their daily duties were completed.
I can manage and delegate duties that need to be accomplished. I’m very “down to business” I want to get work done and done right.
Type of Ride Work
Western style riding and rodeo. Team roping background with a lot of trail riding. Worked with some green horses but don’t consider myself a trainer. Led and guided clients on rides in rough and extreme terrain in Colorado. Experience leading a mule pack string through remote country.
