Equine Work Experience
I’ve been riding and training in the jumpers, hunters, and equitation for nearly 10 years. I’ve assisted in the training of horses, taught beginner riding and horsemanship lessons, been groom and working student at big show/ lesson barns, competed on the Kentucky A Circuit and at both WECs (as well as ribboning.) I rode for IEA for several years and was the team/point rider, making it to Zone Finals twice. I’ve competed and placed in derbies and medal rounds. I was the winner of the Robert Murphy Child Style of Riding Award in 2022
Type of Ride Work
I’m comfortable schooling and competing in both flat work and jumping, in all three rings (hunters, jumpers, equitation).
Competition Details
I’ve competed for over eight years in all three rings at one point or another, and ribboned in most too. I was a full time, live-in working student for a big show barn at WEC, Ocala. I’ve helped several barns at all levels of riding in show grooming.
