I have not completed and equine related courses in an official institution

Preform training rides on client horses of all ages and experience from the dressage, show jumping, and eventing disciplines. Groom, lunge, and wrap horses and care for them before and after exercise. Administer medical care when necessary.

I Have worked full time in Ocala during the winters of 2021 and 2022 in a small competition barn caring for up to 9 horses on my own for periods of time. I have worked multiple times a week for the past four years for an ICP certified trainer grooming, riding, and caring for his and his clients horses. I have worked in a small lesson barn assisting in lessons for young children. I have worked as a groom and exercise rider during the summer for professional polo players, grooming multiple horses to be ready for the players to quickly switch horses during games.

I Have experience working with stallions. I Have high expectations of a barn environment, I am quick and efficient when it comes to maintenance and chores but am also very tedious to make sure no mistakes are made in regards to horse care. I have also worked together as a team with other equestrian students and professionals and do well when collaborating with others and am great at following directions of those above me.

I have lots of experience with young, green, and “problem” horses with high anxiety. I started multiple horses over fences and schooled horses with a wide range of experience in stadium and cross country jumping. I’ve schooled horses with experience from 80cm to 110cm levels of eventing. I have experience schooling green and finished rodeo horses in barrel racing and pole bending. I have experience riding green and finished polo horses, both schooling on the flat as well as stick and balling.

I started competing in eventing in the year 2020, and have ridden at training level with a green quarter horse which I brought up the levels myself. I am currently competing at the beginner novice level with a 5 year old Selle Francais. I have worked in a competition barn part time in Chicago for the past 4 years, full time in the winter in Ocala for the past 2 winters. I have worked for professional polo players and groomed during polo games. I have minimal rodeo experience.
