Duties of Current Occupation

Strategic content marketing leader with 10+ years developing communication strategies for multiple industries. Lead multiple teams, manage fully integrated campaigns, ensure brand standards.

Equine Work Experience

I've been drawn to horses since I was a Girl Scout and have maintained a connection to the equine world throughout my life:

  • Participated in trail riding experiences as a Girl Scout, which sparked my lifelong appreciation for horses
  • Recently returned to riding with weekly English lessons at a local barn, working on foundational skills and building my confidence in the saddle
  • Developing hands-on experience with horse care and barn management through my current lesson program
  • Passionate about the therapeutic and transformative aspects of working with horses, which aligns with my professional focus on human development and meaningful communication

While my equine experience is still growing, my genuine enthusiasm for horses and the equine community drives my interest in contributing my communications expertise to this industry.

Specialities

While I don't have professional equine experience, I have extensive team leadership and high-volume content management experience. I've led content teams across multiple client accounts, successfully managing fast-paced content pipelines with high turnover demands while meeting tight deadlines. I developed streamlined workflows that improved team efficiency and content delivery timelines. My leadership approach focuses on mentorship, clear direction, and creating collaborative environments.

Type of Ride Work

My riding experience has primarily been recreational trail rides and hacks with friends. I'm currently working on English flatwork fundamentals, focusing on proper position, basic gaits, and developing an independent seat. Learning groundwork and basic horse handling skills is part of my lesson program, and my goal is to develop the skills to lease a horse one day.
