Equine Work Experience
My equine journey combines technical skill, therapeutic skills, and a deep commitment to equine welfare and wellness. Over the last three years riding Western, I have developed strong practical skills in general grooming, tacking, and daily management. This hands-on foundation is enhanced by my specialized training as a Certified Equine Massage Therapist (CEMT) and my certification in KT Taping.
Through Therasage EMC, I have gained advanced knowledge in recovery modalities, including Red Light Therapy (RLT), Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) therapy, and cupping. This allows me to support equine athletes across all disciplines, focusing on movement, tension relief, and performance recovery. My goal is to transition into a full-time equine career where I can apply my medical foundation and therapeutic skills to improve the lives of horses. I am equally passionate about building lasting, professional relationships with both horses and their owners.

Type of Ride Work
Over the last three years, I have focused on Western riding, developing a versatile skill set in the arena and on the trail. My experience includes basic groundwork, pole work, and speed such as barrels. I have also explored various equestrian disciplines, including trail riding and an introductory polo lesson at the Barrington Hills Polo Club. Through these activities, I have built a solid foundation in horse handling and an understanding of equine movement across different styles of riding.
Competition Details
In addition to my arena work in pole work and barrels, I have experience on both sides of the show ring. I have competed in a Western lesson show and served as a recovery specialist during a competition, providing therapeutic massage to nearly 15 equine athletes throughout the event. This experience allowed me to support horse health in a high-pressure environment, ensuring each athlete remained supple and recovered quickly between classes.
