Duties of Current Occupation
Look after assigned horses: clean and feed the horses, clean their stalls, make sure horses have hay most of the day, rehabilitate/leg work, etc.
Equine Work Experience
I have worked with race horses and on the racetrack most of the time for the past 13 years.I’ve traveled to many race tracks across the states to work with the horses. I groomed/cared for a 2 year old that was qualifying for the Kentucky derby. He ran in a million dollar purse and needed to run 3rd or better to qualify for the derby but unfortunately he ran 4th. Either way, I’m thankful to have been a part of the run towards the derby, it was an experience of a lifetime.
Specialities
I have a lot of practice doing leg work and I have a lot of patience for horses that need it as well.
